I took my 5-year old and 3-year old to the Dr. today for their annual exam. They did great. 5-year old got shots. He was so ready to be tough like the last time (no crying or anything), but these must have hurt more…or more than he remembers. He did cry for a while, but that’s ok. He got two shots and I’m so glad that they have 2 nurses come in and do both at the same time.
After we left the Dr. we went to the bank and then to Kroger for some milk. I found half gallons on sale for 75 cents each, 2 loaves of italian bread for 1.29, eggs for .69/doz and a port wine cheeseball (for Dave) for 1.79.
During our time in the car we listened to a new CD I got at the Hearts at Home conference. It is by Go Fish ( http://www.gofishguys.com/cms/ ). A bunch of kids’ songs, but sung in a way that doesn’t drive parents crazy! We had fun singing and being funny!
Then as a treat for being so good, at the Dr. and at the store, I got them McDonald’s for lunch. And got myself Qdoba…lol!
